Dear Santa . . .

Dear Santa,
I know it is only June but I would like to make my Christmas wish list early. I love having all sisters, but can you please get me a batting glove. The white princessy dress-up gloves with ruffles at the wrist are kinda slippery for batting. Thanks.

I didn't realize what Vincent was using these for when he asked me to help put them on his hands. I'd say he is very ingenious and good at using what resources are available to him as result of three sisters. 

Strawberry Garden

Ahhhh. I finished prepping an area to plant some strawberries and figured the kids could play on the driveway while I worked. Not gonna happen. The kids chose to 'help' me and then Gentry found the hose and THE MUD PIT.

Pat's Backyard

One of our favorite places to go is Pat Skousen's house to see her tortoises once they wake up from hibernating in shoe boxes under her bed. The kids were so excited when they heard the tortoises were awake and we could go visit. Unfortunately when we got there they were already all in bed, except one that was hiding. It didn't matter though because Pat's backyard is like a secret garden. I discover something new every time I go there.

Father's Day 2010

This was Gentry looking at daddy during the kid's performance during the previous post right before church.

In the evening we spent some time out front playing baseball. In the back you can see Vincent pitching to Lauren. After dinner we watched the 'funny show' (AFV) with daddy and played tickle games and daddy made everyone fly on his feet until we all dog-piled him.

Hula Hooping

Hike/Picnic

Grandma & Grandpa Tigger came out for a little hike/picnic. The hike was short but the kids were happy to play at the park afterwards.
